No, absolutely not! Alcohol can be toxic to pets, we do not use any ingredients that are harmful to our feline and canine companions.

All of our pet wines are made of organically certified ingredients and all-natural preservatives.  Organically grown ingredients include catnip, beet, peppermint, chamomile, valerian root and carrot.  All-natural preservatives include sea salt and vitamins.  

Cats tend to be finicky and unpredictable, tending to like or dislike things based on their own terms.  Published scientific reports have stated between 60-70% of cats are sensitive to catnip, so there is a possibility your cats will not immediately be affected.  We have also added yummy organic beet, carrot and valerian root which will increase the chances for your cat to enjoy a taste.  If your cat is not attracted initially, you can dab some on your fingers and onto their mouths to let them smell and taste so they understand this is ok to drink.  Also serving pet wines at room temperature seems to attract more cats.  Dogs, on the other hand, are surely to love our dog wines!

It really depends on each pet individually and how much they drink.  When cats smell catnip, they tend to be more playful, roll around or flip over, and can become more hyperactive.  In contrast, catnip has a calming relaxing effect on cats when they drink it, perfect for a night cap with your cat.  

All of the ingredients we use are certified and fit for human consumption, though we state not intended for human consumption on our labels simply because these drinks are made for our pets!  All ingredients are organically grown and all preservatives are all-natural so you can be sure of giving your pets a safe and healthy drink.    

We use natural sea salt and vitamins in our wine as all-natural preservatives, so your wines will last up to 6 months if stored in a dark, dry, cool place.  You can store in your refrigerator for up to 30 days after opening.  But since conditions may vary, please use your discretion.  Since we are using organic ingredients, you may find some sediment inside that should be perfectly fine.  If however you see serious discoloration, it is probably best to introduce it to the garbage can.
